You’ve signed up for our free 90-day trial, and have maybe even looked around your dashboard a bit. To help you take the next steps and get the most out of your SHIPMYNT account, take a look at these insider tips and tricks below!

Set Up Notifications

Perhaps the most helpful thing you can do on SHIPMYNT is setting up your notifications to alert you whenever there are new loads or shippers posted in your area. You can do this in less than 5 minutes by going to Settings > Notifications from your dashboard.

Shipper Notifications: If you are a shipper, you can set up notifications to be notified whenever there is a new carrier that either join SHIPMYNT from a certain zip code, or that posts that they will be within a certain mile radius of a zip code. This lets you know that there are potential new shipping partners that you may want to meet on the platform and can help you when you are looking for a new shipping partner in a pinch.

Carrier Notifications: If you are a carrier, you can set up notifications to be notified when there are new loads posted within a certain mile radius of a zip code. This is great for both when you are at your home base looking for a load, and when you are on the road and know you will need to find a load for your backhaul.

Build Up Your Trusted Network

Your trusted network is a great way to keep track of all the valuable shippers and carriers that you have worked with in the past. It’s your equivalent of a digital rolodex so that you can easily find and contact your trusted partners about new loads.

Rate & Review Shippers You Work With

Did you have an awesome experience with a new shipper or carrier that you worked with? Let others know about it! Reviewing those that you work with on SHIPMYNT makes the platform better for everybody and lets you know who would be a potentially stellar partner (as well as who to stay away from)!

Add a Profile Image

Adding a profile image lets other know that you are a real person and can increase your perception of trustworthiness.

Fill Out Your Company Profile

Making sure your company profile is filled out increases your chance of engagement on SHIPMYNT. Be sure to include as many details as you can, such as how many drivers you have, what kinds of trucks you have available, what areas of the country you ship to, and your service categories.

Add Users for Your Company

Will you have multiple people from your company posting or bidding on loads? Give them all access by setting them up as users under your Company.

Add Multiple Locations (If You Have Them)

If you have more than one location around the country, make sure you’ve created a location profile for each. This increases your odds of being found and connecting with shippers and carriers in that location’s area.

Take Advantage of In-App Messaging

Have a question about a load or a quote? The easiest way to get that answered is to reach out to the carrier or shipper directly through our in-app messaging. You can see if the carrier or shipper is online and can connect to them directly to work out all the little details of the load.
